The ITE Skills Certificate (ISC) is a two-year training programme. The programme conducted by the Vocational School for the Handicapped was begun in 1997 as an alternative to traditional, archetypal technical skill courses that were conducted in the past.
The first year of training is school-based and comprises:

Criteria for progression to the 2nd year is:
50% and above combined aggregate score in the core components
90% attendance
Year 2 work-based training comprises:
On-the-Job Training
Counselling & Career Guidance
Academic Education
Both year levels must undergo at least 2h of Co-Curricular Activity a week.

We are wholly funded by the Ministry of Education. At the end of the two-year training, students receive the ITE Skills Certificate awarded by the Institute of Technical Education. |
